APPLETON, WI — Movement Mortgage, the nation's sixth-largest retail mortgage lender, is excited to announce the addition of loan officer Linda Williamson to its team serving Wisconsin and the Upper Midwest Region. Movement expands in Wisconsin with the addition of Linda Williamson

Williamson (NMLS #269744) brings with her 21+ years of mortgage financing experience as a loan originator, having recently served local homebuyers and real estate agents with Waterstone Mortgage. There, she was a regular member of the President's Club, often making their platinum and diamond levels of production, and in 2021 she personally served 263 homebuyers in her market.

Williamson was named in the Top 1% of US-based loan originators by Scotsman Guide in 2020 and 2021. Prior to her success in home financing, she spent over 14 years with American Medical Security, a division of UnitedHealthcare.

“I was looking for something more and what I found with Movement is an opportunity to continue my personal growth and development while delivering a superior client experience,” said Williamson.

“I love seeing the joy on my client's faces when they're handed the key," she added. "But there's the added benefit of knowing that for every loan I close, part of our profit helps those in need through the company's initiative to build schools and community centers in underserved communities. That culture — to love and value people — is a perfect fit for me!”

“We're so excited to have Linda join the Movement family,” said Regional Sales Director Ricky Cheath (NMLS #293027). “Time and time again throughout her career in the mortgage business, Linda has proven that she has a passion for helping people achieve the American dream of sustainable homeownership.

“By bringing on a servant leader like Linda, it shows our commitment to the state of Wisconsin,” Cheath continued. “We want to help make a difference in people's lives, we want to help the people in Wisconsin, and with Linda on our team, we are better equipped to do that.”

Williamson, who has three step-children, and one step-grandson, lives in Appleton, WI, with her fiancé, Barry DeWall.

“Barry and I live by the motto 'Work hard, Play harder,'” she admits. “We're both rescue-certified scuba divers, and we enjoy boating, riding UTVs in Wisconsin's Northwoods and long rides on our Harley-Davidsons. Plus, I'm an Ironman finisher, and Barry is the leader of Curious Crow, an 8-piece rock band.”

“So, when we're not working,” Williamson added, “you can sometimes find me being a roadie and sound person for the band.”
