CHARLOTTE, North Carolina — Movement Mortgage, a national top 10 retail mortgage lender, is happy to announce that mortgage veteran Mark Scarrow joins the Movement team as a Loan Officer in Charlotte, N.C.

Scarrow (NMLS #178678) has been in the home financing industry for 25 years. His previous position was as Senior Sales Manager at NewRez, where he worked for nearly a decade in the Charlotte area. Before that, he was an SVP at Foundation Financial Group, also in Charlotte, and has held many roles over his thirteen years at HSBC, from trainee to VP District Manager.

Mark's personal mantra, "Mortgages Made Simple," perfectly aligns with how Movement approaches home financing at Movement. And, as a top mortgage professional and senior sales manager, he has been ranked in the top 5% in the United States for the last nine years, most recently achieving the top 1% in the country.

“I have achieved this success, due in part, to my undivided dedication to each and every client,” said Mark. “I go above and beyond to find creative ways to make each transaction as easy as possible for my clients while making each experience personal and inviting. I'm excited to bring this approach to my new family at Movement.”

Educated at Duke University, the University of North Carolina, and Warner Southern, Mark isn't just about work. When not educating clients on matters of financial health and how to set themselves up for success from a homeownership perspective, Mark spends time with his two daughters, both very active in athletics and dance. In his personal time, he enjoys playing golf, being on the water, exercising, cooking, and traveling. He resides in Charlotte.

"We are beyond thrilled to have Mark on our team," said Geoff Brown, Regional Director for the Mid Atlantic region, which includes Charlotte Metro. "With his experience and long history of top customer service — and being licensed in over 20 states — we will continue our mission of providing an elite home buyer experience throughout the country."
