Movement Mortgage, a national top 10 retail mortgage lender, is excited to announce the addition of Randy Lowery as Market Leader, supporting loan officers serving the home financing needs of families in Northwest Alabama, Mississippi and Northern Louisiana.
Lowery (NMLS #1888857) previously worked at CIS Home Loans, where he was Vice President of National Mortgage Sales. Prior to that, he worked in business development and was a professional football player with the AFL’s Orlando Predators.
Sports has always been a big part of Lowery’s life, and it seems to have prepared him well for the fast pace of the mortgage business. “I was a four-sport athlete in high school,” recalls Lowery. “Football, basketball, baseball and track. I’m still the all-time leading Wide Receiver in my school’s history and played the same position at the University of West Alabama before turning pro.”
Just as a wide receiver is adept at outmaneuvering and outrunning the competition, Lowery finds his role at Movement equally exhilarating, especially as he and his team closed more than $200 million in loan originations over the last 18 months. “I’ve been in the industry for two years now, and I’ve absolutely fallen in love with the mortgage business,” he says. “Very few industries allow you to make a difference in people’s lives while making money at the same time. That’s a big deal to me.”
“Randy is a proven leader, and he understands that it’s all about other people,” said Jonathan Garrick, Movement Mortgage’s Regional Director in the Southeast. “We’re excited for what he’s going to create and the fact that he believes in our culture and what we are looking to accomplish as a company.”
The Lowery family consists of Randy, his wife April, sons Dalton and Lawson, daughter Henslee and a bloodhound named Bear. The kids are excited to know there’s another sibling on the way. The Lowery’s live in Red Bay, Alabama.
