INDIAN LAND, S.C. — Movement Mortgage, the nation’s sixth-largest retail mortgage lender, is honored to announce a strategic corporate partnership with the United Service Organizations (USO), a leading nonprofit serving America’s military service members and their families.
As a corporate partner, Movement will serve the USO’s network of service members and their families with mortgage products and services under its Movement Military initiative. This division of the company offers a mortgage experience built for military families by military families. As one of the largest VA lenders in the U.S., Movement Mortgage offers home financing tailored to the needs of military families and veterans with competitive rates, easy-to-use technology, and special perks via a VA mortgage.
As part of the corporate partnership, Movement Mortgage will also participate in the USO Pathfinder® Transition Program to help provide employment opportunities to service members transitioning to the private workforce. In addition, Movement will present volunteer opportunities to its employees to serve alongside the USO.
“At Movement, we exist to love and value people — and there is no greater love than being willing to sacrifice oneself for another. That’s exactly what the men and women of our Armed Forces do every day. We are honored and privileged to serve them as they purchase homes and seek employment,” said Movement Mortgage co-founder and CEO Casey Crawford.
“The USO represents the best of what’s possible when Americans come together to love and serve one another,” Crawford added. “We’re proud to lock arms with the USO and offer our small contribution to the work they do every day to serve our military service members and their families with excellence.”
Corporations that partner with the USO find it a rich and rewarding experience, one that benefits not just the corporation and the USO but, even more importantly, service members and their families.
“With more than 200,000 service members transitioning to civilian life each year, the USO remains steadfast in our mission to support transitioning service members and military spouses,” said Jim Whaley, President, USO Southeast Region. “Working with our partners Movement Mortgage who share in our passion of taking care of our military, we can work together and develop innovative ways to strengthen our military by keeping them connected to family, home and country during their time in service, and when they transition out of the military and settle into their new communities.”
