Powered by an innovative loan process and refreshing corporate culture, Movement Mortgage has been recognized as one of the fastest-growing private mortgage banks in the U.S., and a six-time member of the Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest growing companies. Movement believes real estate is a local business driven by individual agents and their local sphere of influence. The company has rapidly expanded nationwide by committing to upfront underwriting and seven-day processing goals, and investing millions of dollars back into communities through its nonprofit foundation.

"We looked long and hard for the right leader to open the Shreveport office. Our extensive search led us to Rolanda Knight," Movement Mortgage Market Leader Justin Underwood says. "Rolanda has demonstrated unmatched experience in the local market and a love and concern for each of her clients. She's a perfect fit with Movement Mortgage."

Knight has a degree in finance from Louisiana Tech and over 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry and she and her team specialize in home purchase financing and serving first-time homebuyers in Shreveport and Bossier City, Louisiana.

"As a mortgage professional, my focus above everything else is client satisfaction — and I believe joining Movement is the best way to make sure my clients are well cared for every step of the mortgage journey," Knight says. "I am so excited to continue serving our communities in Shreveport, Bossier City and northwest Louisiana with unparalleled levels of service and mortgage solutions."

"When entering a new market, I believe most leaders recognize the importance of finding the right fit for the first hire there," Movement Regional Director Matt Schoolfield says of Knight. "What's been impressed upon me through our time getting to know Rolanda, Amanda and the Shreveport/Bossier City market is how much value lies in finding the right HEART in that first hire. In my short time getting to know Rolanda, I believe I've been impacted personally, by her heart for her teammates, clients, business partners, family and most of all her Lord. I look forward to her influence and reach increasing her impact on northwest Louisiana and our team at Movement."

Knight is an active member of the northwest Louisiana community, where she lives with her family, including her children, Hayden, Hillary and Hollan. She can be reached at [email protected]
