Movement to invest $18 million and hire 700 people in South Carolina

Today we are joining with the S.C. Department of Commerce to announce that Movement Mortgage will create 700 new jobs at our National Sales Support Center in Fort Mill, S.C., over the next five years.

While other mortgage lenders have been in the news lately for scaling back, we continue to grow. That's the mark of a successful movement — bucking the trend to disrupt and change our industry.

The hiring will take place during the next five years as we move toward our vision to finance 1 in every 10 homes sold in the U.S. Once our current available space is filled, we will eventually expand with a second building at the National Sales Support Center, making an investment of $18 million.

"Movement Mortgage has been an incredible partner to our state since its doors opened in Lancaster County two years ago. This $18 million investment, and the 700 jobs it means for Lancaster County, shows that Movement Mortgage is committed to our state and its people, and we couldn't be more excited to see this fantastic company continue to grow and thrive here for a very long time." –Gov. Nikki Haley
