Movement's day in the CNBC limelight

Movement Mortgage landed on the national stage last Friday when CNBC's flagship business news show "Squawk Box" broadcast live from the company's sprawling new headquarters in Fort Mill, S.C.

The show, which airs weekdays before U.S. financial markets open, touched on reducing the national debt and the state of mortgage lending, and featured a lineup of high-profile guests that included former White House Chief of Staff Erskine Bowles and Carolina Panthers Coach Ron Rivera.

But on top of its name and logo appearing on national television, Movement's hosting the show attracted local media coverage, as well. Both the Charlotte Observer and Charlotte Business Journal published stories about the broadcast, and its reporters gave real time updates on social media.

Mortgage giant Fannie Mae posted a YouTube video of its executive vice president Andrew Bon Salle and Movement President Casey Crawford discussing the state of mortgage lending and whether millennials will buy houses.

Segments featuring Rivera, Wells Fargo's chief economist John Silvia and Duke Energy CEO Lynn Good earned retweets and "likes" from their respective companies.

The Panthers posted a link to video of Rivera's interview with "Squawk Box" co-host Becky Quick on the team's website and Facebook page.

“We have a great locker room, a great culture.” – Ron Rivera

Everyone tried to capture the "Riverboat Ron" Dab seen around the world.

And "Squawk Box" created a meme because…why not?
